Multichannel marketing is marketing using many different marketing channels to reach a customer. In this sense, a channel might be a retail store, a web site, a mail order catalogue, or direct personal communications by letter, email or text message. The objective of the company doing the marketing is to make it easy for a consumer to buy from them in whatever way is most appropriate. To be effective multichannel marketing needs to be supported by good supply chain management systems, so that the details and prices of goods on offer are consistent across the different channels. It might also be supported by detailed analysis of the return on investment from each different channel, measured in terms of customer response and conversion of sales. Some companies target certain channels at different demographic segments of the market or at different socio-economic groups of consumers.

MultiChannel marketing allows the retail merchant to reach its prospective or current customer in a channel of his/ her liking.

Well, I`ve been tagged by Danielle at Pink Hat Seo, so I have to list 5 favorite food places. Ok, my favorites are the following (all placed in Bogota Colombia):

Patacon Maduro: Placed in one of the most principal streest of Bogota, it`s a typical food of Colobmia, but they are special dishes based in bananas, but fried bananas, first they squash the bananas and over that plain fried bananas, they serves different varieties of meat, rice, guacamole, etc, it`s delicious.

WOK: It`s a beautiful Chinese restaurant. The specialty is many kind of sushi. The place has a beautiful decoration, the main color is red. You can find giant quality pictures of china, but the pictures are very special. There are 2 Wok`s placed in Bogota. Very delicious.

POPEYE`S (Panama City, Panama): A old freind of mine invited me to Panama last February and he shows me the most delicious restaurant of my life. It`s Popeye`s, I`ve never seen before. It`s a big variety of chicken sandwich. :p

McDonalds: When I was in Panama, I see one MacDonalds buildings each 3 blocks and for all directions. Here in Bogota there are only 8, ..9, then this McDonlads restaurants are considered as “rarities”. The only thing that I love from McDonalds are the french fries. I went to McDonalds only for to buy a pack of french fries, nothing more.

Cyrano: A cofee/pastry shop, but the specialty is the pastries. Cyrano is one of the most older food places of Bogota. About 60 years. I remember when I was a kid and I can find Cyrano in all the city, today I know about of 2 but that chocolate cakes are keeping that delicious flavor, hmm :p. The recipe it`s unique in the world.

I have a hangover, got HYPER DRUNK last night, tons and tons, I mean liters and liters of beer yesterday…my head is killing me, my eyes will explode….f…ing beer, woww…I feeling really sick, I`m worried I can`t think so clearly right now, may be I`m intoxicated, but why?? may be later today I`ll feel better.

This time is about the movies, or upcoming movies. I just find the first teaser trailer of the fourth part of Rambo`s saga. Well, people may find this like a fool thing, most of that people may be are 24 years old and less. Ok, those people are right but, as I said before, I`m a model 1973 without the built-in high speed calculator in my brain. I`m living in Colombia, so the movie business here, 26 years ago, it was very delayed, I mean they brings the american blockbusters…one or two years AFTER the american movie premier, this is due to either the costs and time of the making of spanish subtitles.

Come on….,..when I see Rambo the first time in 1983 I was 10 years old, and….THERE IS NOT INTERNET…please, I would appreciate the understanding of those guys and girls of 24 or LESS. So one of my childhood heroes is ..of course Rambo! I had only 3 TV Channels…I haven`t MTV in that early years.

Rambo represents for me a “one-resource-man”, a “one-army-man”, it`s a guy that find several ways to get out of troubles, he save his own life! He always know what have to do in the worst case!!!, He is not the popular old american hero with a branded weapon, like Long Ranger and his expensive silver guns with expensive silver bullets, no, he can`t find a weapon with any-thing , like me!!!! I find the weapon with any software/program in my work. The most POWERFUL WEAPON of Rambo is …his mind, He says that in Rambo: First Blood part two. So I found myself identity like Rambo, I mean…I try to find the right way to solve a problem, a necessity, etc for myself. That`s all. ….I had cure myself like Rambo in the past, bad memories come to mind, but I did.

So, I`m very excited Stallone will release the fourth part of the Rambo saga, I like Stallone, I found in him a cool guy (un tipo buena onda).

This new Rambo release is called: “John Rambo”, and the film is directed by Robert Rodriguez, he did a INCREDIBLE and SPECTACULAR visual design work for the Frank Miller`s “SIN CITY”.

Well, it looks Rodriguez had found a new way for express the Rambo adventures, I find the teaser trailer very GORE, SAVAGE!!, but I hope that “bloody element” in the movie will have a important role for telling the new story. Today, if you are a important movie director (and want to preserve your reputation), you have to find UNUSUAL ways to communication, UNUSUAL narrative elements for express an idea in the screen. I just put my faith in Rodriguez. This is just the first teaser trailer, the movie premier it`ll in 2008.©Millenium Films.
