Multichannel marketing is marketing using many different marketing channels to reach a customer. In this sense, a channel might be a retail store, a web site, a mail order catalogue, or direct personal communications by letter, email or text message. The objective of the company doing the marketing is to make it easy for a consumer to buy from them in whatever way is most appropriate. To be effective multichannel marketing needs to be supported by good supply chain management systems, so that the details and prices of goods on offer are consistent across the different channels. It might also be supported by detailed analysis of the return on investment from each different channel, measured in terms of customer response and conversion of sales. Some companies target certain channels at different demographic segments of the market or at different socio-economic groups of consumers.

MultiChannel marketing allows the retail merchant to reach its prospective or current customer in a channel of his/ her liking.

My Cat. But I`m not talking about my actual “physical” cat. I talking about my “signature”. As a artistic drawer I have a signature and a favorite character to draw. Well, that signature and favorite character always has been a Cat.I´ve been surrounded by cats since my first childhood memories. When I was 6 or 7, (don´t rememeber) I count 21 cats in the house of my grandparents. Today I have one. A 6 years old male cat called Lou. But I wanna show some of the cats that I´ve created since my firsts earlier drawings.

Breve etnografía de la Blogosfera.

Para aquellos que no lo saben, antropología es el estudio de la humanidad, es una profunda mirada hacia su sociedad y cultura. Blogging en mi opinión es una pequeña parte de la humanidad y definitivamente hay cosas como la cultura del blogging. La etnografía es el método por el cual antropólogos conducen su estudio y es también el resultado final para escribir sus estudios de antropología.

Comunicación:

Bloggers, o entusiastas del blogging, tiene su propia forma de comunicación, es simple, bloggers se comunican on line a través de sus blogs, comentando en sus blogs y a través de los varios servicios que la red y sus proveedores ofrecen. Un blogger debe usar estas formas de comunicación para ser considerado un miembro entre la cultura Blogging.

Estructura social y sistema de creencias.

Los bloggers tienen reglas sociales por las cuales ellos deben tolerar y cumplir o ellos serán rehusados del grupo. Esta es una forma de control social que es generalmente vista en pequeñas culturas que no son regidas por algún estado o por alguna otra forma de lideres. Es la sociedad en si que actúa como policía entre esa misma sociedad.

Aquí hay unas cuantas reglas que estoy segura muchos de nosotros aceptamos:

* Tu no puedes aislarte de la gente. Tu debes contribuir al ambiente social y a promocionar la cultura blogging. Por eso los grupos dependerán en su tiempo de la necesidad del blogging.

* El status quo no necesita ser respetado. Esta es una característica que es muy única de la mayoría de culturas que dependen del mantenimiento del status quo como algo esencial que es lo que la cultura es, la protección y la transmisión en las futuras generaciones de las reglas e historia de esa cultura. En la blogosfera de todas formas a veces es importante sacudir cosas o ser el primero en decir algo. Esto es un aspecto extremadamente interesante de la cultura blogging.

* Tu no puedes creerte mejor que otros bloggers. esto significaría tu ruina. Hay algunas culturas que he estudiado que son muy similares -hombres que van de casería, por ejemplo, y uno de ellos captura un animal grande pero para minimizar el tamaño él dice cosas como: “Oh, que animal tan flaco y pequeño” o “estoy apenado por capturar un animal tan pequeño”. Esto asegurara que los que están alrededor de él no se sentirán mal
por no haber cazado algo. Blogging es la misma cosa. Aunque tu podrías se mejor y alguien con mucho éxito, ese éxito aun depende de tener otros bloggers a tu alrededor y de la gente que lea tu blog. Y el botín del cazador estará mal en el desierto si no hay alguien mas quien ayude a cargarlo a su casa y asegurar la cena.

* No hagas Spam en los blogs de otros. Esto es equivalente a robar: tu robas el tiempo de los bloggers como ellos tiene que lidiar con el spam y también ellos tratan promocionar enlaces a sus blogs. La cultura blogging esta basada en la visón de la contribución y la conversación y la ausencia de estos elementos degrada y cae como un error mayor en esta sociedad.

Economía.

La cultura blogging subsiste de la venta de anuncios, publicidad, enlaces y reseñas. El dinero hecho generalmente viene de la blogosfera. La real moneda de los bloggers consiste en enlaces, y estos enlaces son comerciados entre los miembros de esta sociedad.

Bigmanship como blogger.

Bigmanship, (hombre grande) el cual fue encontrado en muchas regiones de Oceanía, (ex. Melanesia), involucra el ejercicio del poder y autoridad usando “engatusamiento e intrigas tan bien como buena agricultura, ganadería y buen sentido de la economía, mas allá de las ambiciones de unos.” (de Religiones Oceánicas, Enciclopedia de la religión). Jhon Chow por ejemplo es un perfecto ejemplo de este fenómeno en la cultura del blogger.

Todos nosotros tenemos nuestras propias vidas fuera de blogging (creo que es así), pero cuando te sientas al computador tu te vuelves un blogger. Y como eres parte de una verdadera sociedad blogging, que es como cualquier otro grupo cultural, es importante recordar que el dicho “cuando estas en Roma, haz como los romanos” no es un dicho en vano de la gente. Es una verdad que es relativa a la sociedad y habla sobre la habilidad de adaptarse a su ambiente. Por eso si quieres tener un blog, haz como los bloggers.

Well, I`ve been tagged by Danielle at Pink Hat Seo, so I have to list 5 favorite food places. Ok, my favorites are the following (all placed in Bogota Colombia):

Patacon Maduro: Placed in one of the most principal streest of Bogota, it`s a typical food of Colobmia, but they are special dishes based in bananas, but fried bananas, first they squash the bananas and over that plain fried bananas, they serves different varieties of meat, rice, guacamole, etc, it`s delicious.

WOK: It`s a beautiful Chinese restaurant. The specialty is many kind of sushi. The place has a beautiful decoration, the main color is red. You can find giant quality pictures of china, but the pictures are very special. There are 2 Wok`s placed in Bogota. Very delicious.

POPEYE`S (Panama City, Panama): A old freind of mine invited me to Panama last February and he shows me the most delicious restaurant of my life. It`s Popeye`s, I`ve never seen before. It`s a big variety of chicken sandwich. :p

McDonalds: When I was in Panama, I see one MacDonalds buildings each 3 blocks and for all directions. Here in Bogota there are only 8, ..9, then this McDonlads restaurants are considered as “rarities”. The only thing that I love from McDonalds are the french fries. I went to McDonalds only for to buy a pack of french fries, nothing more.

Cyrano: A cofee/pastry shop, but the specialty is the pastries. Cyrano is one of the most older food places of Bogota. About 60 years. I remember when I was a kid and I can find Cyrano in all the city, today I know about of 2 but that chocolate cakes are keeping that delicious flavor, hmm :p. The recipe it`s unique in the world.

Yeah, it`s the third time that the producers and distributors changed the date of the premier, first the premier was scheduled July 4th , a month ago July 3th, and now since some days ago…it`s TOMORROW!!!

Well, never mind. Hope the Transformer fanatics like me will have fun tomorrow, but I have to wait 19 days more.

One upon a time ….
“Long ago, Optimus Prime and Lord High Protector Megatron ruled Cybertron. Together they were the protectors of the Allspark, an enormous cube of energy that gave life to the Transformers. However, Megatron secretly desired the Allspark’s power for himself, and soon he was corrupted. He formed a like-minded army of separatists — the Decepticons — with Starscream at his side, and he plunged Cybertron into civil war, killing millions.

During the Battle of Tyger Pax, Autobot Bumblebee leads a team to hold back overwhelming odds whilst Prime attempts to launch the Allspark into space, making a last-ditch attempt to prevent Megatron from claiming it, even at the cost of their civilization. Bumblebee loses his own voice-box in the process, but the Allspark leaves Cybertron. A determined Megatron flies into space to find it, and Bumblebee volunteers to find it before he does.^[2]

Megatron, keeping a close psychic bond with the Allspark, soon locates it on Earth. Heating up during entry into the atmosphere, he crashes and sinks under the Arctic ice sheets. The sudden temperature drop and loss of energon forces him into stasis-lock.
